About us
We’re sharing our story - who we are and how we became Lithuania’s leading shoe and handbag restoration studio.

Sneaker Spot Origins
Two sneaker enthusiasts set out to educate the public by launching Lithuania’s first sneaker blog, Sneaker Spot. We created content in Lithuanian about notable sneaker models, their history, and maintenance, wrote advisory articles, and interviewed collectors. We built a sneakerhead community, published over 200 articles, and organised Lithuania’s first sneaker market and sneaker party.

New Service in Town
At our first sneaker party, Kicks’n’Beats, we introduced sneaker cleaning services and received our first pair on May 22, marking the official start of our services. At first, we cleaned shoes at our home and delivered them to customers. Self-taught at first, we added colour restoration, customisation, and repair services. Our team grew to include four friends who helped with the blog. As demand increased, we decided to move into a physical studio.

Homegrown Sneaker Studio
We opened our studio in the Old Town, where we still operate today. Over the year, we settled in and focused on restoration and developing a blog. We hosted a weekly radio show about sneakers, organised sneaker cleaning days in stores, held a sneaker market and threw a few Kicks’n’Beats parties. Our first shoe restorer joined the team.

Beyond Restoration
As our client base grew, we expanded our team with a few restorers and our first manager. We restored shoes, ran the blog, organised events such as cleaning services at festivals, shoe maintenance workshops, and attended sustainability seminars. That summer, we also opened a second-hand sneaker pop-up in Palanga.
2020-2021
Pandemic Shift
When the pandemic hit, we halted events and blogging, closed the studio to visitors, and worked in shifts, accepting shoes through the window. As business resumed, we focused solely on restoration. The number of items doubled each year, and we expanded to restore not only shoes but also handbags, car interiors, and leather furniture. We also partnered with dry cleaners to offer our services.
2022-2023
Shifting Forward
When the war began, we supported Ukraine by reselling customers' shoes and donating the proceeds. We also welcomed several Ukrainians to our team. Strengthening our luxury segment and refining our services led to increased demand for complex repainting and luxury handbag and shoe restoration. Partnering with Ežys, we launched the “Back to School” campaign, customising over 70 sneakers, while corporate orders for shoe customisation also grew.
2024
Redefining Sneaker Spot
We started partnering with Tingit, a fashion repair platform, that provides shoe and handbag restoration services. And… throughout the year, we worked on creating the new Sneaker Spot brand and launching a new service.
